    • Alabama Aerospace & Aviation High School is a public charter school that offers a whole new kind of educational opportunity to students: the chance to get an outstanding high school education combined with industry-aligned, career-focused training and experience. In addition to hands-on, experiential instruction, they will provide clearly defined pathways for our diverse student body to enter aviation and aerospace careers. AAHS welcomed its first class of students in the fall of 2022 and is currently enrolling 9th and 10th graders for the 2025-26 school year.

  • Project Description

    • This project consists of an approximately 30,000 sq ft new facility on 22 acres adjacent to the Bessemer Municipal Airport, located at 3408 McClendon Chapel Road, Bessemer, Alabama. This initial 30,000 sq ft phase will be created to support the education of 400 students and is part of a larger master plan, ultimately accommodating 700 students. The timeline for the commencement of construction will be based on the deadline for occupancy for the 2027-2028 school year.
